Emily is a clinical creative, combining her background as a clinical social worker, healthcare program manager, and content writer. She spent her early career as a passionate advocate for people navigating the healthcare system and believes in the power of storytelling to create meaningful change. Emily has two children, including a daughter born in 2020 with tyrosinemia type 1 who inspired her to join flok. Her hobbies include crossword puzzles, reading crime fiction, hiking, and writing short stories and novels. As a Minnesota resident, she eternally roots for warmer winters and the opportunity to witness a major sports team championship.
